Banal
Banal
2023
Banal is Banal, a simple tautology. In a redundant society of over-communication, I try to obtain a subtraction by implementing an extreme addition of meanings to the already seen and commonplace. I take historical images or icons to compact them and decontextualize them.

The subject is a Buddha is a model created with Cinema 4D. It depicts a historical icon in one act of relaxation. The work is inherent in the Banal series, where subjects are decontextualized and placed in common actions, those of every day.
Turn to Wood
Turn to Wood
2019
In the Turn to wood series, the concept of energy is manifested in a motion of eternal return. The material used by voice to work; cardboard, this material that originates from its deep memory, from the earth to a tree until it becomes paper. The work is carried out through a high level of technicality, where by means of meticulous design and sculptural reworking, the cardboard returns to show itself in the nobility of wood.
Astolfo’s work on this recycled material shows a projection of the internal process of rediscovering one's immutable essence, what arises from the observation of these carved cardboard blocks is like an unfathomable memory. Their presence, even if formally renewed, continues to show the viewer the distance, as if they were isolated objects now abandoned and left to themselves.

Souvenir d’Italie
2018
Souvenirs d'Italie is a communication project and a limited edition leather goods production, born from the desire to synthesize in common use object her passion for art, tradition, Italian materials and, at the same time, for the communication and safeguarding of artisanal knowledge. Souvenir d'Italie is a way of life where the past lives and turns itself into simple objects, full of knowledge and memories. It is an antidote to a future without memory.
Girandola
Girandola

Piazza del Gesy is animated by colored segments that outline a sort of path, at first glance: a creative design that sees the lines walking side by side, in the same direction. However, from above you notice the obvious image: a pinwheel. These are colored segments that outline a design on the pavement around the obelisk in Piazza del Gesy, which is particularly appreciable from above. The installation aims to represent a sort of labyrinth that can define the common space and encourage encounters with others.

Yellowstone is a lamp with an organic shape composed of highly transparent and resistant methacrylate material.
The radiated light is filtered by the color of the structure or strong and directed through the holes that articulate it. The
attachment where the LED lamp is placed is removable from its base and can then be connected to the power outlet.

2014
Following the requests of the competition,
which is to depict a physical event of surface tension, I decided to design a series of sculptures that represent
the impact of a drop on a surface trying to obtain a series of consequential surface
tensions.

project is a temporary installation of the Italian flag, displayed on the external facade of the
B.N.L. Bank. of via Toledo. The flag, measuring
12 x 8 m, was entirely made with recycled fabrics
(pieces of resin) sewn together. The Italian flag, emblem of the State, is an invitation to reflection to rediscover a sense of belonging and union that the current crisis of values has called into question, but above all a denunciation of the financial system (the location on the headquarters of a bank), global responsible for the ontinuing economic crisis of the Nations.
